Fair Recruitment
We believe recruitment should never come at a cost to the candidate. Our commitment to fair, ethical, and transparent recruitment is the foundation of everything we do.
🔴 Our Unconditional Pledge: Azubiba will never charge candidates any fee for recruitment, placement, visa processing, document preparation, or any other service. All costs are borne exclusively by the hiring company. This is non-negotiable — always.
The ILO Definition
Fair recruitment, as defined by the International Labour Organization (ILO) General Principles and Operational Guidelines for Fair Recruitment, means that no worker should pay for a job. Recruitment fees and related costs should not be charged to, or otherwise borne by, workers or jobseekers. The cost of recruitment should be borne by employers.
This principle protects migrant workers from debt bondage, exploitation, and vulnerability — all of which are enabled when workers pay their way into employment and feel unable to leave for fear of losing their investment.
No Fees to Workers
Recruitment fees or related costs must never be charged to or borne by workers or jobseekers at any stage.
Transparent Information
Workers must receive accurate, clear information about the nature of the job, employer, working conditions, and pay before accepting.
Freedom of Movement
Workers must be free to move, change jobs, and return home. No passport retention, debt bondage, or movement restrictions.
No Deception
Recruiters must not misrepresent job content, salary, working conditions, location or any aspect of the offer.
Decent Work Standards
All placed workers must receive at minimum the legal minimum wage and full social and legal protections under German law.
Access to Remedy
Workers must have access to effective grievance mechanisms and legal recourse at every stage of recruitment and employment.
Data Protection
Personal data of candidates must be collected, stored, and used only for legitimate recruitment purposes with full transparency.
Non-Discrimination
No candidate shall be excluded or disadvantaged on the basis of gender, caste, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
